Each year SBGA offers the Fred Hack Memorial Scholarship Program for dependent children of our Active and Affiliate members. This program helps to defray the increasing costs of education. We encourage you all to take advantage of this valuable member benefit.

Since 1993, the NYS Association for Superintendents of Buildings and Grounds, Inc. (SBGA) has provided more than 100 children of SBGA members with scholarships totaling over $150,000. Congratulations to the 2011 recipients!

Dependent children of SBGA active and affiliate members can apply for the Fred Hack Memorial Scholarship Awards. Each year, six $1,500 scholarships are given to children of SBGA members in an effort to help defray the high cost of education. Applications are available in January and awards are presented in May.
Since 1993 SBGA has given out over $145,000 in scholarships.
The Association has contracted with Scholoarship America to manage the Fred Hack Memorial Scholarship Program. Scholarship America will be managing the 2008 program, under the new guidelines set by the SBGA Board of Directors. Applications will be available January 15, 2008. (Application deadline March 31, 2008).
