Each year SFMI offers an extensive, all-inclusive School Facility Managers’ Academy, designed to meet the educational and administrative training needs of school facilities personnel. The emphasis of this one-and-a-half event is on state code compliance and leadership skill development.

If you’re new to the field of facilities management, or looking for a refresher course in code compliance this is the training opportunity for you. Topics include the latest information on code compliance, administrative skill development, how to manage personnel, operations and maintenance budget development, addressing health and safety issues and more.
